StrioLuxe Chenille Non-Slip Sofa Cushion Cover

If you are buying a sofa cover in Australia, measure your couch before choosing a size. Labels such as 2 seater, 3 seater and 4 seater are useful starting points, but sofa dimensions can vary between brands and styles. Your actual measurements are the best guide.

Shop Sofa Covers Australia after measuring, or use the steps below to compare your sofa with the sizing information available for the cover you are considering.

How to Measure Your Sofa for a Cover

1. Measure the seating width: measure the section of the sofa that you want the cover to protect.
2. Measure the seat depth: measure from the front edge of the seat towards the backrest.
3. Measure the backrest: check both the width and height of the back section you plan to cover.
4. Measure the armrests: if your cover uses separate pieces, measure each armrest independently.
5. Check the sofa shape: note whether your couch is a straight sofa, sectional or L-shaped configuration before selecting cover pieces.

2 Seater, 3 Seater & 4 Seater Sofa Covers

A seater count describes how many seating positions a sofa generally has; it is not a universal measurement standard. Two different 3 seater sofas can have different widths, depths, cushions and armrest shapes. For a better fit, use the seater count to narrow your options and then compare the measured coverage area with the sizing shown for the cover.

Before You Order

• Measure in centimetres and write each measurement down.
• Measure the exact area you want covered rather than estimating the full room-facing width.
• For separate seat, backrest and armrest pieces, measure each area separately.
• If your measurement sits close to a size boundary, review the relevant sizing information carefully before ordering.
